This is due to the technical limitations of the android system and does not depend on the GG version. [added 1 minute later] Strictly speaking, new versions of GG just allow you to edit memory, on poor firmware, where old versions can’t do anything at all.

Not all memory can be edit, even with root. Without ptrace or under some other conditions more memory can not be edit.

Everything in this game can be hacked.... Only reason I haven't shared is because everyone will just start taking credit and making money from it... 4pda notoriously steals my work. Maybe if a group of people got together and offered $, they could have method. Then I wouldn't care what they do with it after.

Try using Frida or burpesuite. I've never tried, but this would be my guess.
