The newest incarnation of Tapatalk is on sale for $.99 in Market here. It's available for one week only at this price. Trasd ASUS TF700T (Tapatalk 4)

Google "memory editor windows" and you can find a few! Good luck.

As long as you are adding and not replacing...

You have to install the apk - if I'm understanding you correctly - it doesn't automatically install like it does from Market. You should, depending on your file explorer, just tap the apk's name and you will get the installer. You also have to be able to install from "Unknown Sources" too - look in your settings for this option. Good luck.

It sounds like the game keeps your stats on the server (this is called Server Side) and can be, in most cases, impossible to hack without a modded app.

IAP will be the death of Android. I feel it is my personal duty to let as many people know as I possibly can! Welcome to the club. I have a little diatribe I like to post on crap apps: In app purchasing (IAP) has a legitimate place in today's market, but [app name here - ] is not one of them. It is my belief this app exist solely as a vehicle to facilitate in app purchasing and this is after charging an outrageous amount to buy the game in the first place! Come on, there is no app worth all that. Without some type oversight, we make Android policy with our every purchase. Apps that exist solely to support in app purchasing are inundating the market and will continue to do so until we take a stand. Please don't encouraging this behavior by giving them your money (I'm speaking in general, not about this app specifically). I am a firm believer in capitalism, but not the exploitation of a promising, open source operating system. Android is in danger of never making it beyond the infant stages because of money grabbing schemes preying on the venerability of its youth; the alternatives are a lack of quality, oversight, and demise. Android affords us a unique opportunity to shape our own operating system independent of corporate domination. You vote with every dollar you spend, please do so wisely.

Welcome! Feel free to share your meals...

You may want to put in a request to see if someone can successfully hack the value you are trying to change. You can post a request here. If they can get it, ask them to share the details. You may also, if you haven't already, work through some of the posted GG tutorials.

There are two reasons I can think of for this behavior: 1. You need to broaden your Search Range 2. You did not find the value you thought you did Did you try a Fuzzy Search? I feel like I am missing something, though! Anyone?

Gold in this game can be hacked with GG (at least on both my systems and with different versions of E&L), but it can be a little confusing and a tutorial would take me a few days to write. If anyone is still interested, let me know and I will try to get one together. I can really be encourage if you hit the "Like" button ( I hate the noob label). Please be aware, I have not tried the game online so I have no idea if multiplayer toons are kept sever-side or not. Also, though I have successfully edited other stats, I haven't tried it with version 2.1.1, so I can only guarantee a gold hacking tutorial right now, but it will still help. Usually, some starting gold is all you need to get going anyway. EDITED So far, I've (re)figured out how to modify: Gold; XP

You'll enjoy it here, I do...

Donchepe, you need to give a bit more detail before anyone can help. Like, at a minimum: the type of system you are running; OS info; steps necessary to reproduce the problem; etc.

GG 6.0.4 very slow and unresponsive sometimes.

I'm in the US, but despite the claims of manufacturers, I don't know if this has ever been put to the test. From my understanding, it is still a gray (or grey - ) area. I think if push came to shove and a ruling was forced, we would find that the manufacturer would have to honor the warranty if, like you state, our modifications were not the cause of the problem. Unfortunately, I am not willing to put this to the test; I don't want to be a martyr. I had to promise my wife I would work, diligently, on writing a marketable app if we purchased a new, powerful tablet. I can deal with ASUS's OS for a year just for the security and peace of mind. As a matter of fact, I actually need to send it in for warranty work (a screen problem) and I will set it back to factory defaults before shipping it, just in case. I do miss my ClockworkMod, though.... -

I didn't unlock my bootloader because it voids my warranty, but luckily I could root it without the same worry. ASUS's OS is actually not that bad rooted - I haven't even started looking for a replacement for when my warranty is expired. Good luck! -
Then, that's a good idea! Really though, both together are the best way to go - IMHO.

So, did rooting solve the issue? If not, is there a pattern to the slowdowns? -
You know d2, maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I like to reference tutorials later, therefore I want them in writing. I'm sure I'll be overruled, but the only time I watch video tutorials is when I cannot find one in print or its a timing thing in a game. Like the adage illustrates: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." I feel like if I read something to the point of understanding it, I retain the information. If I watch a video, not only can I not readily reference it at some later day, but I soon forget it. C'est la vie. BTW, if you answer 'No' in the poll, you still have to answer the second question.

Shhhhhhh, not so loud....

I have a suggestion that may help generate traffic: Implement a system whereby members can earn VIP credits. This could work for both sites. The idea would be to encourage forum participation by rewarding certain work with credits that would allow or extend VIP group membership. For example, writing a tutorial or posting an app exclusively with the Dev site. Food for thought.... Like this post if you think this is a good idea.
