  1. I created a tutorial that demonstrates how to use Gamesaves as customization templates and used harryk's saved games as an example. If you want to customize your own Ravensword game (thanks harryk, I couldn't have done this without your hard work), look Keep in mind though, I do not touch IAP.
  2. Wow, long absence for me! Had a grandchild (my first), moved lock, stock, and barrel to a new state, but now I'm back on the job. Just wanted to say that I haven't disappeared. Any new developments I should be aware of?
  3. Yep, I was around (teenager) when the first PC came out and since dad worked for IBM, we got one almost immediately. I had a TI 99/4A before that - we rigged a tape-recorder to work as a backup system so we didn't have to reenter our programs every time it was turned on! But, I think a more accurate statement would have been "I've been hacking for more than 30 years, off and on."
  4. This is how I edited the stats: Name of Game: The Bard’s Tale Game Version if known: 1.3 Name of Cheat: Stats Steps: Open both GameGuardian and The Bard’s Tale Start a new game (brings you to character creation screen) Set difficulty to Easy (you start with more points in each stat and have more save-points) Open GG and search for 8 (the current unallocated stat that you want to edit) Go back to game, increase stat to 9 Open GG and search for 9 Go back to game, increase stat to 10 Open GG and search for 10 This should be enough to isolate the stat - long press address and edit stat Make sure you allocate all Available Have fun* *The highest a stat can be (I read somewhere) is 21, but I've set mine higher just to test. I don't set mine above 18 because you find stat increasing items in-game and you need some kind of reward system or it is too boring. I edit some stats because I like the adventuring part, but don't like hack and slash. Also, you will find many (or all?) Extra stuff in the app's directory (already there, don't need to unlock) and you can play them manually - i.e. Bloopers (funny, too).
  5. Oh yea, I've been "hacking" for more than 30 years! I'm just glad you made it so much easier for Android. Helped me with The Bard's Tale, too...
  6. Hey, never mind! I not only answered my own question with trial and error (and a little understanding, I like to think), I was finally able to increase my Townsmen Premium Prestige. What a rush.... I could not have done it without GG - thanks again for the app.
  7. Thanks d2, I figured this group would have similar feelings. But, I forgot to mention the fun and satisfaction obtained when you finally edit that magic memory location. It also helps me understand the OS for when I finally get around to learning its programming nuances and "rules."
  8. I'm new here and this is my first question, so be nice! I apologize if this question has been asked, but there is no search on the mobile version (or I couldn't find it) and I didn't see it on a cursory inspection of the topics. Does GG save the game information (specifically searches) between sessions? For example, if I run game XX and do a search on 21, then when 21 increases to 22, I do another search. Then I have to exit the game and close GG. The next day, when I run game XX again, do I need to start the elimination process over again, or is the searches from the day before still used to help me zero in on the actually value I am looking for? Thanks in advance.
  9. Hey guys! Just introducing myself. Hello... First, to the developer, I want to say THANK YOU! Nice job and very useful app. RANT ON I am so sick of the money grabbers that ruin potentially great apps with in-game purchasing. It's not like Android is not still in it's infancy - they can't understand that as far as mobile OSs, it's got staying power. They are so worried about raking us over the the coals, it seems none of them grasp the benefits of maintaining a good reputation. I believe they believe Android is just a flash in the pan and they are trying to get our money while the getting is good. Face it, if the professional app developers were worried about a long term relationship with their customers, there would be no reason for GameGuardian to exist. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with in-game purchasing like some of the RPG MMOs, e.g. Turbine's DDO or LotRO, but at least they are upfront and fair about their terms and conditions. They don't charge you $5 (after already purchasing the app) to get the ability to save your game. RANT OFF Peace....
