dave7802 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I heard it was possible to search for some values by changing them (increasing and decreading) while using a search engine to locate the changing values. I only heard people having success on selected items or weapons. But the key to success was doubling the values. I believe I read this was because the game was built on some particular engine Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk 1

Lipstick Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) I'm really bad at hacking, but I've noticed resources at 0 are counted as 64. 18 is counted as 50, a decrement of 3 becomes 46 (-4), another decrement of 3 becomes 40 (-6). I don't understand it at all, I just search for 64 (for a reasource I don't have), then Unknown/Decreased until I find it. Otherwise I just get 18 of them, search for 50, then decreased/increased as I use them in a station and then cancel the build and do that over and over again until I find it. Increasing it from 50 to 255 gives you 126978 as a value. You can also clearly see that when switching the value from 255 back to 50, it returns 18.00. Maybe someone with a stronger math brain than me can figure out the correlation between these values and understand how it works. Edited March 1, 2016 by Lipstick

Quickly found hp value. What I'll try to do is find offset locations to other useful values. Then can try and do a union search or navigate to the next value without having to search. Mines of Mars is another game that uses similar values. 1
Moderators NoFear Posted March 3, 2016 Moderators Posted March 3, 2016 If value of item is 1, search 1.875 (floating) 2 of item, search 2. (floating) Some other sample values. 2.3125 5 2.375 6 2.4375 7 2.5 8 2.53125 9 2.5625 10 2.59375 11 2.625 12 2.8125 20 10 524288 You can see the trend of point 125 then 0.03125 Then later the increments get smaller and smaller. As you see 10 floating is 524,288. When editing values, keep in mind the decimal. Best is multiply what you are editing by 10. (edit 1.875 to 10.875). This way you don't "break" the values. Here is a video sample for you :
acestars Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Wow, you are the best, its working. How do you know about the pattern? Can you give me clue how to find the pattern and when the increments getting smaller?
danishajaz Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 (edited) You can hack HP, thanks to the trick NoFear1183 shared. The HP value for 50( when you have nothing equipped) is: 3.140625 After searching that value, equip wooden armour, your HP will become 85. Now you need to search value for 85 which is: 3.33203125 Now there should be only two values. Just change to 10 or 20. But keep in mind the HP will not change permanently. You need to freeze it for unlimited hp. You need to do this every time you load the game. Edited March 19, 2016 by danishajaz

I can hack the item quantity but sometimes when you exit the game it will back to original value or back to 0 (zero). I think i will restart the game from the scratch because i lost my quest item and got stuck maybe because i tried to hack those item.
Pixeleye Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Can someone make a complete list of the values atleast 1-100? I cant seem to get wht Nofear1183 said. Ill attach screenshot. If im not mistaken its values decrease every 4 edit: you can see i got different values in 20 Edited March 29, 2016 by Pixeleye
Moderators NoFear Posted March 29, 2016 Moderators Posted March 29, 2016 Every 4th value it becomes half again as much for the increase. 4 values increase at .00390625 4 values increase at .001953125 Then .0009765625 See the pattern?

Moderators NoFear Posted March 29, 2016 Moderators Posted March 29, 2016 d*** @Enyby you know your stuff... Maybe you could help me to figure out the pattern to values in another game? Very similar to this, but not a perfect pattern it seems. Maybe I could pm you with some of the values I have and you could help?
