Older version of GG.

Hi guys hope you are all good! I'm trying to help out a friend who is using an older version of Android and wants to use GG. He's currently running 8.1 which doesn't support GG. Where do I find an older version that will be compatible please? Any help much appreciated thank have a great day/night wherever you are in this crazy world we live in.

From the GG download page
"Supports Android 2.3.3+ (Gingerbread) through Lollipop (5+), Marshmallow (6+), Nougat (7+), Oreo (8+), Pie (9+), 10+."

Go to where you download the latest version and click on "see changelog" as highlighted in the pic. Change that to what version you want and hit download.

Should be able to run the latest version on Android 8.1. Says it supports much older versions than that.

thats strange..

my older phone was Samsung phone with Android 8.1.0.

can run GG v101.1 without any issues.
