DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 If you copy the VM directory to the deployed folder and open the .vbox file in virtualbox, the VM shows up in genymotion.
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Gotcha thank you for that info, I was trying to figure out how you did it without being signed in. I'm unsure what the problem could be as I have 2 computers mining games for me at the moment and one of them is using a piece of crap on board graphics from the motherboard itself. so idk that the problem would be your gpu.per say.
DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Hmm... That's a good point. I could just rip out the GPU and try the onboard graphics. I'm guessing my motherboard isn't playing nicely with the AMD-V in my CPU. Or there's some BIOS setting somewhere that's messing things up.
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 This will be a neat experiment. Another note is the computer that is running onboard graphics is using msi board with radeon 3000 or something awful haha but it is having no problems botting 8 games for me while I work on other things
DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Which CPU? I'm on a Phenom II 940. I forgot this mobo doesn't have onboard graphics haha. I powered it off and opened it up before I realized it. I think I have an 8600GTS sitting around I could try throwing in
DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 As expected, switching to the 8600GTS didn't help.
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 I'm using amd fx 8350 with nvidia 650gtx on one and the quad core equivalent on the other with onboard graphics.
DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Oh well, I give up for now.... Back to bluestacks.
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Sucks for you regardless i will add the support email to the original post for those that have problems and would like to work one on one instead of filling my thread with bug reports. Anyone who emails me will recieve a response on monday I check it every monday and do custom builds
rasp Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 ya, i cant get it to work either.. dunno whats the deal as i downloaded jenny motion so after installing genymotion, i fired up jenny motion.. how can you troubleshoot jenneh?
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 is it an intel machine? my friend is over here and we are building intel machine now
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Good news everybody! Jamie's computer is having the same problems running Jenneh Motion as you all's so we are gonna work on it and when we get a fix will upload it. If we cant figure out in next hour or so we will have to finish next week maybe idk
Jenneh Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 It may have to do with cpu and it's ability to run this (intel rigs only) http://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-hardware-accelerated-execution-manager jamie's cpu doesn't provide support for this, does yours?
DurhamGPS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 That's supposed to be similar to AMD-V. It looks like good support for AMD-V and intel VT didn't occur until later processors. That could be the problem.
