Question

Hi expert brothers,

I have recently downloaded the dump.cs of a game.  From that I search for Public Class name.  From getting the result I refined the value for the First character of the clasa name.  Then I got 2 value.  Then I searched pointer using "Search pointer" used offset 0.  This is something I tried but don't know the exact way to find pointer from dump.cs.

Can anyone help me about it or suggest any article about it.  I have usinh gg for 1 month.  Not very experienced about the pointer

I am facing a problem on Finding pointer from the class name of dump cs

I have given my SCREEN RECORD VIDEO [ https://youtu.be/qDFEB69IkEE?feature=shared ] what problem i am facing.

Here is a small demostration :

1st : search class name and refined the first letter. Got 2 adress  // Memory range : Other

2nd : Searched pointer with offset 0 for 2 adresss.  Got 4 pointers with yellow // Memory range : Ca

3rd : Go to the each yellow value pointer and searched for if there is any purple colour pointer.  Got no pointer. // Memory range : A

Why there is no pointer?

If you having problem understading my problem  here SCREEN RECORD LINK i mentioned what problem i am facing

From where you learned all this.  As a beginner I want some tips or guideline from you.

At least you give some hints.  I searched out All over google and youtube but didn't get anyone as fast as you.  May be I am trying to learn in wrong way.  I have spended over a month over pointer but still have not learned that much.  Suggest me some correct way and resources to learn.

@MonkeySAN I tried as you said but at last stage again no pointer came.

Watch the recorder of Mine

What to do about this issue?

I have also question why -10 offset was used for?

You use -10 because i guess that's where all instances of the class are pointing to. For fix issue i guess you need to add B40000 before the address on which you want to  perform the pointer search.

Thank you all for helping me

@MonkeySAN @nok1a can you tell the process of doing same thing for the 32 bit game?

Suppose I searches for the Class name @ other memory

Then refined the value with 1st letter

The pointer search for the letter @CA

after getting the results.

I go to the adress results.  But there is no typeDefIndex value in anywhere.  Thats why i am unable choose which adress i will use for next pointer search @Anonymous memory
