Of course they can. That's why you see YT videos of hacks and then in an update of the game they will be patched.

yes, brother... every form of cheating that is spread and spread by the game forums, famous platform videos and etc, will always be fixed by the developers, always! often they fix it to not be used and other times it is kept to ban anyone who tries to use it. i used the hack i discovered in the free fire game only x86 version, i never shared this hack, and i used this cheat in january 2018 until may 2022, until they decided not to compile the x86 version... the only one who used this cheat, because I never saw anything like that anywhere, only the widespread cheats that led to the ban...and I was NEVER banned because of this hack that I discovered on x86.
