Technical Curious how game detects GG and how GG detects itself.

Just download a game called Utopia:Origin today and it found GG installed (not running) even though it didnt detect Lucky Patcher at all. Im not playing much nowaday so just uninstall it instead, but still curious about this techie stuff, how can it even detect GG after already reinstalled itself, and how GG know there is an older version of it?Thx for any one can answer.

Maybe they check for gg dex code ?
