Wrong. Write video with your actions.

I think you use different memory editor value format and select byte value to edit.

You must do action with understanding them. But you simply copy them. In different environment it can not work.

This look like: I open keyboard and pressing button with letters - all same as garry potter writer but I can not write own garry potter. Why?

Alright. I knew my video is correct. It's obvious the person isn't editing the same value when it won't let him change beyond the range of a byte value.

I found the 3 values that are the scores when the race is about to start, then i click on one and goto, then i try change the two values underneath that one and it won't let me change it above 255

This is because in your format values editor selected byte to show. You need change next two dword. Not simple next two but next two dword. In video are next two. For you selection format value it is located not as next two. I think this is 4 and 8 next after your value.

finally did it! thanks for your help guys, i was following the video 100% so i was also trying to edit the 2 values after original value, sorted now yayyyy
