TUT How To Use Tibkp Files In Titanium Backup (Backing Up, Sharing, And Restoring)

Titanium Backup, is really an excellent app. What this guide will focus on, is how we here at GameGuardian, use TiBkp as gamesaves.

To start, TiBkp are what Titanium Backup calls "Easy Backup" files. In this tutorial, we will be using the game, "Temple Run: Brave", as an example. Below is how to use them:
 

Backing Up and sharing a TiBkp file.

1. To do anything, you need to have Titanium Backup Installed.
2. Go to the "Backup and Restore" Tab, as pictured:

4. Tap the entry that you would want to backup/share. In this example, I will press "Temple Run 2", and get the following pop-up:

6. Press "Backup!", and you're all set
7. Now, to share the TiBkp file you just backed up, either long press (Tap and hold) the entry, or swipe to the right. You will receive this prompt/window:

9. Press "Send latest backup ...". Which will then give you the following pop-up:

11. Press "Data only (easy import)".
12. Share using whatever cloud service you would like

Restoring a Gamesave (TiBkp file)

1. Download the Game, which you have downloaded/ will download a gamesave for.
2. Open Titanium Backup (duh).
3. Press the 'menu' button on your phone, and you will get this pop-up:

5. Press "Import backup (.TiBkp) ...".
6. Choose what service you would like to use, to retrieve your TiBkp file from your storage, such as below:

8. Find where you put your TiBkp file, and 'open' it.
9. You will then receive the following prompt:

11. Press "Data only".

• Note: You may have a prompt, only with the option "Data only".

? Use a file explorer to find the TiBkp file you would like to restore.

I think u didnt get, wht i asked for...

In this site, Tibkp files are normally provided in 3 nos...

like ".properties" and ".tar.gz" and ".apk.gz"...

How to select these files????????????

hello: when ever i tab in send latest backup i just get a message underknee the page saying: sorry this feature requires donate version, can somebody help me to fix that please??

Ur gamesave worked superbly super good for me...... It was just so simple.

Imcool- select the zip file without extracting the. Zip file. Restore the entire zip file and its done. Go back and play tge game.....
