You can do both coins and diamonds with a simple double search

I would log out of google play in the games settings menu first

I found it in the Ch C++ memory range but it could be different for you so just select the others if you do not find it 

if you have say 1343 coins and 17 diamonds search for 1343;17 with a E:Double search either spend or earn some coins and refine the search using the new coin;diamond value it should only take a time or 2 change them to whatever you want buy a chest or 2 and restart the game.

I logged back into google after and opened and closed the game a few times the changes are persistent.
