When i try to hack with pointers i get a lot of pointers and i cannot identify which are the correct pointers. It starts by finding other useful values (prices, rewards, stats value, inapp prices etc etc). These you find by either dword, float, double, xor.... Once you find the value look nearby for what could be a pointer. If you do see any, you might actually be at the end of a pointer. Typically look for a value that repeats for every set of values. So if you found an item price, scroll until you see another price. Then look above for a value that matches. Copy address location of it and hex dword search it. Now you might have many results or just one. Go-to address of one of the results. Good chance more pointers surround this one and all might be related to that item. It's trial and error...
