EichZen Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 For editing values tied/related to particular string? e.g. the premium option for Space Marshal 2... if possible to activate the premium in terms of 1 or 0 binary
Administrators Enyby Posted August 6, 2017 Administrators Posted August 6, 2017 Explain with examples.
EichZen Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 Okay, so with the current method available, which was recently implemented, for searching text... I can search the string "premium" and then after going to that address I'll see a list of addresses that when all connected spells out "premium purchase"... I think the address that enables premium is somewhere in that list of addresses or something Is trial and error the only way to find out? The example game/app I'm using is Space Marshal 2/ EDIT: Basically what I'm looking for is an IPA hack. If that is not okay, then I will request deletion of this thread.
Administrators Enyby Posted August 6, 2017 Administrators Posted August 6, 2017 No. It is only strings stored in memory. You need learn about strings and pointers. In short - you can not search "premium" and use this for hack premium in most cases.
EichZen Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 I see. I'm just baffled that modders can enable that premium in SM2 and have it stick when it finally gets overwritten by the actual apk from Playstore. This is outside of GG now. Thanks for the assistance.
