SitOnIt Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Why not add option to search for values that have increased or decreased by certain a certain amount? It would make it so much easier to go on from unknown initial value. Instead of having to do 50+ searches with unknown decreased/increased it would decrease usual searches to like 3 max. 2
Administrators Enyby Posted January 9, 2016 Administrators Posted January 9, 2016 And how do you know how much value has changed? And if it is a change you know, then you enter values itself you know and you do not need a search for the unknown. Give an example of when it would apply. 1
SitOnIt Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) A game where You have no idea how much hp opponents have. So you do a fuzzy search and get all initial values. Hit a monster for 23 damage. Obviously You still have no idea how much hp opponent has only that it is 23 less than before. So you could now scan for decreased by 23. Not just decreased that would give all values that have been decreased. It is an option in Cheat Engine for a really good reason. Edited January 9, 2016 by SitOnIt 1
Administrators Enyby Posted January 9, 2016 Administrators Posted January 9, 2016 Accepted. We add this on next releases. 1
SitOnIt Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Thank You. Will be waiting for next release
Administrators Enyby Posted January 9, 2016 Administrators Posted January 9, 2016 Not next release. Next releaseS. This is not necessarily the next release. 1
SitOnIt Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Yes I understand but I can still hope it will be in next release. Especially since the new functionality wouldn't require much new code at all. 1
