Gems can be cheated through Achievements rewards. They use Xor encryption.

Xor = 445,544

Short video, afterwards claim your rewards and buy coins with it:

Was you able to enter the game again after doing this? I was just stuck on the loading screen. Makes me think there was some kind of ban.

Something like this? 

You have to switch google play games account and make sure games signs in on new google play games account.

This error i had when i was editing some strings. It was before editing the gems through rewards. Modifying gems through reward does not seem to give me any kind of ban.

Made a new account on emulator and tried the gems only = no ban.

As well tried on Xposed(the video) with no google play games account. No ban either.

Did you do anything specific before modifying gems through rewards?

I never got any message but it was just not connecting. I switched Google Play accounts but it was still the same. 

I only changed gems but then bought quite a lot of VIP points.

I've never played the game but was just trying the hack. I've deleted it now but anyone else that plays might want to be a bit cautious if they don't want to lose their game.

Its a weird issue. Bought ViP now till LV 11, currently up to 275k points. Have yet to experience an issue. But i agree with you for others to be causious of bans.

Think I only went to level 9 or 10 so it's not that. Maybe I changed something else without realising I'd done so

Weird part for me is that your issue remains, even after changing account. So not sure if its a ban you had. Maby you can try log in to your same google play game account but on a other device or virtual space? Since the game gets the coins data from the server. If you then don't experience any issue it could be a device ban or some issue with the app after it was modified at runtime? Just speculating.

OK, so I downloaded again and this time tried another Google login (I have many) and it worked. I then went back to my original and when it tries to load my save it just hangs. So I guess I did something to affect my save data.
