" So here is a short list of common android apps that Slow down your android system. I have compiled this list from online articles and user forums to inform others of these issues. Removing these apps might help with speed or freezing or rebooting issues. Also I know its kinda silly but you'ed be surprised how many annoyances can be fixed by simply pulling out the battery and restarting the phone.

The last one is really more of a notice. There are no currently known viruses for Android cell phones. There are malware apps (apps that may not actually do any damage but steal your information). But if you pay attention to the permissions page of the app it tells you everything your letting the app have access to. So if a game like tetris wants your communication info (sms, call logs etc.) chances are the writer of the app is not trust worthy."

I jmorri2011 just want to add, that android is just a mobile flavor of Linux anyone ever heard of a Linux user installing an antivirus ;-)
