GameGuardian was denied Superuser rights - Magisk

Question

Previous version (may have been v82.1) had no issues with root.

However after uninstalling previous and installing version 87.8 it seems GG is automatically denied root.

Please see video screen recording below:

GG Logcat:

I've tried restoring image and re-flashing magisk/root and clearing dalvik/cache but still same problem.

Seems problem to do with Magisk. Any apps not already in Magisk Superuser list are being automatically denied. The prompt to allow root is not coming up. Setting it to auto grant also doesnt work.

Managed to fix the issue was not in fact a GG issue but a Magisk Issue,

Whitelist Magisk Manager from "battery optimized"

Clear storage of Magisk Manager in the "Storage" page of "App info".

Re-grant the permissions of "Storage" and "run at startup" to Magisk manager.
Also, grant the permission of lock screen continue running by tick the checkbox in system built-in "Background activity manager".
Reboot your device. (if necessary)
