I gotta say, this is my first attempt at using GameGuardian and I am so completely lost. I'm very familiar with save editing, hex values, etc. But I'm trying to figure out this game. I started out just trying to find my save file and editing that, however I could not locate where on my phone it was saved. Even decrypted the APK to try and find the values to edit there and just recompile/resign it but I had no luck there.

Basically here is where I am...

I have 332 crystals. I either want to "lock" that amount so I can purchase upgrades endlessly, or change that value to 9999. According to the formula mentioned earlier in this thread, I came to this conclusion:

Formula: 3158068 + (A - 1) + (B x 256) + (C x 256^2)

My 332 Crystals: 3158068 + (3 - 1) + (3 x 256) + (2 x 256^2) = 3289910

So... yeah. What is the next step I need to do? And maybe dumb it down just a bit? I'm not a *****, just new to using GG. Thanks in advance!

I noticed when looking for my value, the game had it stored as -3 on the last digit.

IE 3750204 showed up as 3750201

This! This was my answer. Thank you!

I have 297 Crystals

3158068 + (2 - 1) = 3158069
9 x 256 = 2304
7 x 256x256 = 458752

Total = 3619125

I tried searching for the total value but zero results were found. I'm using version 1.2.1

Thanks in advance!

Base value (3158068)

may be different for each device, so I did put a note after my first post. Requote below. If you've found my response is not clear, try follow CPS's response on page 2  ;)

>> Forgot to mention. You might notice the last digit of crystal value will contribute to most of the raw value. So in case you cannot search from raw value (probably the FIX value is different), you can use Fuzzy search. Just note the last digit, play the game for more crystals, check your crystal last digit again if it is more or less than your previous one. If more do "Larger" compare, if less do "Smaller" compare. Once you got the needed address, you can reverse the formula to find the FIX value.

I have a Galaxy S3 and I have game version 1.2.2

I had 893 crystals so the formula was 3158068 + (8-1)+(9*256)+(3*256^2)

Total  3356987

Tried searching for it and it came in blank.

Followed tutorial and played level 1 - 1

I had 907 crystals total now so I fuzzy searched for a higher value and I got absolutely nothing!

P.S.

I have search set for all regions and I put /sdcard as the area for fuzzy search temp.

EDIT

I had to do as someone suggested and add -3 to the value, I then got out of the buying screen went onto a level screen and singled out the address. I then returned to the buying screen put the 960051513 value, i LOCKED the value thenplayed 1 -1, there I got 99990 and magically after buyin something hte value went to 99995 and I am now a happy man :D

The game isnt trilling anymore... beasts only last like 5 seconds alive lol

Here's crystal formula (money for upgrading skills, towers, warrior, props)

For 100-999 : Value = 3158068 + (3rd digit - 1) + (2nd digit x 256) + (1st digit x 2562)

e.g. 352 crystals = 3158068 + (3 - 1) + (5 x 256) + (2 x 2562) = 3290419

For 1000-9999: Value = 808464433 + (4th digit - 1) + (3rd digit x 256) + (2nd digit x 2562) + (1st digit x 2563)

e.g. 1234 crystals = 808464433 + (1 - 1) + (2 x 256) + (3 x 2562) + (4 x 2563) = 875770417

To use this, you will need to find crystal address first

  1. Open GG, and the game.
  2. Note your crystal, and calculate the raw value using formula above.
  3. Search the raw value.
  4. If more than one address returned with the value, made some purchase to change your crystal value and repeat step 2-3 until you have only 1 address corresponded to your search value.
  5. Done!!

To go over 10k, we need some tricks.

  1. Put raw value 960051513, which is 9999 crystals
  2. Play the game until you got 10k+ crystals.
  3. Then, let's say you now got 10534 crystals, check the raw value from the address.
  4. Assuming it's 859123764 (it may not be the same, but it's ok, just continue to next step)
  5. Add 9 to the raw value (i.e. 859123773) and you will get 90534 crystals. (if you add 3, you'll get 30534 crystals, etc)

I haven't try crystal above 90k yet, but it seems there's another address keeping track of the raw value, I'm not gonna fiddle with it though, 90k seems enough :)

Enjoy!! Hope it work out for you.

ok....sorry for being tottal noob but i dont know where to put the calculated formula..where is this raw value??

can someone can send me some screenshoots of hacking this game??

Finally got this to work after Mich effort. Here is how:

The value for first was not -1 and not -3 but -4

Also you then have to apply this to the 999 or 9999 values given in the guides or your crystals reset to 0 if the incorrect value is given.

I finally managed to get the value locked and upgraded most of my stuff. Thanks heaps for the base value and guides. :)

The "formula" is making this whole issue far more complicated than it needs to be. Look at those numbers you're working with in hex and you'll see they're just the ASCII digits. That is, the number of crystals is stored as a text string, not as a binary integer.
