dark16sider Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Is there a way to immediatly freezing a game and unfreezing. I tried terminal to singstop an application but it not an immediate it takes some time. I tried game gaurdian pause but still appear to be delayed. The only way I found is to set time jump to minus which has immediate but timed pause and can't just unpause I have to wait till it unfreeze.
Administrators Enyby Posted September 6, 2018 Administrators Posted September 6, 2018 GG send request to kernel immediately. All other depends from kernel.

For me it appears that the kernel only completely stops after 1 sec. The screen stops immediately but once I resume it skips some part. I know 1 sec is pretty fast but I need something that is way faster. Setting skip frame to -1 results in the correct immediate freeze. Is there a way to make skip frame a click to freeze and unfreeze? or just to cancel the skip frame mid skiping then I can set skip frame to -1000 then cancels after finishing
CodeKiller Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 This is also game dependent. I have some games that will try to "resume" for the number of second it was frozen, so you will see the game accelerated after the pause.
