Selecting 2 applications?

I just tried a new game called oceans and empires and tried selecting the app on the icon but 2 show up, one with a ! in front and another has # in front. If I only select 1 and do anything it comes up with an error and crashes. This happen before on another game but I ignored it. Anyway to fix this?

It's ptrace. 

Only way is if someone can mod the game and remove ptrace from the game so you can memory hack it. 

Ptrace is basically the death of GG.

Wow surprising that a low userbased/ not so popular game would have that, well rip, thanks for the answer.

It's sometimes surprising which devs add such protections.

That game has ptrace, which is ridiculous...
