GWARslave119 Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 it generally allows you to do or access things that otherwise couldnt do normally. I could sorta understand if a person doesn't own, or hasnt fully paid for their phone, but i think if the phone is yours, and you paid for it, you should do what u want to it and accept any risks. A rooted phone is kinda like a pc that you have admin rights to, altho the operating systems will still hassle you on some occasions. The phone thing all started cause Motorola and Verizon won a lawsuit, or something like that, claiming that phones needed their bootloaders locked cause of potential hackers wrecking havoc on the mobile airwaves. Alas, there's always going to be an opposing force, i just dont like when people try to control the situation by doing a 'blanket ban' out of fear.
