Game Guardian with Shizuku APIs?

 Share

Recommended Posts

To be honest, I'm a novice user who's having trouble rooting my Android phone. Unfortunately, it is not an easy task with the current firmware updates. Shizuku (by Xingchen & Rikka) is a popular tool for accessing system APIs with adb/root privileges via a Java process called app_process.

So, can GameGuardian support Shizuku on non-rooted devices? Do you think it has any potential here?

Game Guardian development is on hold now, it's been almost 3 years without any hearing from the developers. I don't think Game Guardian will support Shizuku.

Just find out what Shizuku is from this thread. Looking at the Shizuku repo, it is really cool. But since it is a middle man for system-binder; is it have the ability to read app memory? while also writing on it? My judge is: it would be limited, just like Android did to ADB.

Hey there!

I understand rooting your Android phone can be tricky, especially with recent updates. Shizuku sounds promising—it lets apps access system stuff without needing root directly. As for GameGuardian, it usually needs root access to work. But with Shizuku, there might be a chance it could run on non-rooted phones.I'd suggest checking out what others are saying in forums or online communities. They might have tips or experiences that could help you figure out if it'll work for you.Good luck, and I hope you find a solution that works for your device!

Be clear! GameGuardian does support using Shizuku on non-rooted devices. Shizuku is a helper application that allows GameGuardian to access the game data on Android devices without requiring root access.

Do you happen to know to know how to get Game Guardian running with Shizuku? I have tried using rish as the su command in order to give Game Guardian access to dameon though with no success.
