Disney Magic Kingdoms (Unlock characters?)

There are characters that are time limited / were available once and never showed up again. Looking for a way to get these for my children. If they were available to purchase I would do that for them... but alas they are not available. Now I'm just wondering is there any possibility to change the data in the game to unlock characters that are no longer available? I have already cheated the game for them and they have a ton of gems... which keeps them relatively happy! I've found in cheat engine / processhacker2 that the game save data looks something like "inventory.(characterName)":0 where it's either 0 or 1, if you own it or not. Maybe there's a much easier way to change the 0's to 1.. Any smart people out there with any ideas how I could unlock certain characters for them with Gameguardian ?

Example:

"inventory.Elsa_epilogue":0 - Character/Costume not owned
"inventory.Moana":1 - Character/Costume owned
