SpeedHack not working Android 12

leonniar

Question

Hello, my device is Xiaomi Mi 10T and running MIUI 13.0.12.0 (Android 12). I have used game guardian before and pretty much have in every phone I've ever had. I can modify data just fine but SpeedHack is not working on any game at all. I set it up fine, use all the green timers/functions and even tried having them all on and stuff and nothing works, even on games I have used it before and know it works. I don't want to use a VM, my device is rooted and GG has been given SU rights.

I don't know what difference does it make that the apps are split APKs

The difference with split_apks is that every asset are splitted into each own APK which help in distributing content and development, Google Play always deliver this type of APK if available instead of normal unified apk. You can always look-up for APK file using APKCombo: Eggs, Inc.

I thought the easiest solution was to use a Parallel/multiple space app

Virtual Space app is now deprecated for GG uses, it can works but the environment is very limited which can cause many errors (Daemon not running is one of them). I recommends to use Virtual Machine.

What should I do ?

Since you're still in Android 12, using x8SandboxVPhoneGaGa or VMos, shouldn't be a problem. I also recommend to use the Modded version of it for more unlocked features, it's available on Download Section: VPhone-VMos

Hi @leonniar, could you give us more narrow details? This can be from Android Kernel, Game Guardian and the Game itself:

  • - Could you attach some Game Guardian Logs here, so we can see if Game Guardian is working properly.
  • - Perhaps check the Game Architecture on /data/app/com.your.game.name/lib, make sure that it is Armeabi-v7a or x86 for SpeedHack to runs properly.
  • - It can also because of your current Android version. Android 12-13 is having bad environment for Root-space.
  • - Could you also mention your game name? or a link to google-play for it.

Is your game played on the same Android Version before? The only way is to downgrade your OS version if you doesn't want to use VM and if it's Kernels related. In the meantime, you can take a look on similar issue mentioned here: Speedhack diagnostics

I have attached here the GG log.

Logcat MediaFire Link

I am currently testing GG in 2 known working games for me. Egg inc. (Has some sort of protection) and Tap Tap Dig (has no protection at all). I went into both of their files and none of them have a /lib folder.

I am using android 12 right now, first time using android 12 so I don't know if that's the problem. Root is working fine for me tho without any issues.

Hi @leonniar, then the Games must be Split APKS which reside its lib on [architecture].apk on the same folder.

Perhaps you're indeed need to test the game on a Virtual Machine such as VPhoneGaGa, etc.

The problem with newer Android (12-13) is the new Phantom processes which manage any spawnable process and also a changes in rootspaces. This broke many things already and that's why it's ideal to stay at Android 9-10. Perhaps there's workaround but idk.

The Game Guardian stopped because of WIF Signal indicated in WIFSTOPPED(1) while carrying Loaded Shell. The SH may contain the SpeedHack, since it's injected into Kernels to emulate time(). Since it's failing, you wouldn't see any effect even with increased SpeedHack sliders.

There's also a change in Register Address that lead to previous WIF Signal. This indicate that the the PC address is Invalid which lead to "Bad address".  From both evidence, it can be assumed wether the SH is failing or it's because of the registers by unknown reason, changed into Invalid Address. This reminds me to this SpeedHack Diagnostics. I don't want to jump into any conclusion as we don't have an exact reasons on why the Registers are changing.

It's also interesting to see that there's many Bad Address occured.

I was using GG guardian with Android 11 last time, I updated this week so I know it works on Android 11. I don't know what difference does it make that the apps are split APKs, I have used GG on them pretty much daily in the past without any issues. I thought the easiest solution was to use a Parallel/multiple space app. I have downloaded many from the official page with the "optimized" APKs and none of them work. The problem is 100% android 12 so the easiest fox would be a Parallel/Multiple space app as mentioned above but I don't know which one to use. In the official downloads it's never mentioned whether they work with Android 12 or not, there is absolutely no mention for when the APKs were last updated and the one I see most people use (virtualXposed) has a broken link... What should I do ?
