Bloons Monkey City Have they changed the values in Bloons Monkey City?

So the old way to cheat in this game was to take the value you wanted to modify, make it a negative and add/subtract 1 from it, so f.e. 50 becomes -51. However, this no longer seems to work. Does anyone know how to modify values today?

Still seems to work the way you explained it for me.
