Are you trying to run a cpp file ? 

Cpp files needs 777 permission

And if your file lets say its on your Download folder and you are trying to run the cpp file it will gives you an error since its not on root directory

You can't give a file 777 permission if its not on root directory 

Copy your files to this folder data/local/tmp

Give it 777 permission and execute them

Nice answer but, the folder temp is a temporaly folder the system can clear it at any time,  he should create is own folder on the root
