Also, where is the researches.json I've looked everywhere for it. 

I also found that if you freeze the number of stars it shows zero but you can still buy all of the research.

Simple. Change resource amount in source tile to 999999999, and then press sell.

A couple of things. Where're the game files? 

And what kinds of variable on the source tile is it? Whenever I do a search I get thousands of results and if I change them the game crashes.

Use only JH (Java Heap) region on search, try to edit sources which have two or more resources available (Use group search)

I tried to open 5.5-5.8 levels via changing all 0D numbers to 1D while in research menu.

Now you have few free star researches.

P.S. You can get coordinates of Star Researches in game files (researches.json)

i has done found a way to edit resources and money in dis game 

Le tutorial kinda:

you want to find the value of what you want to edit (like green paper)

Go to the address of that value

then its the 2nd adress under the address of the number

change this to what amount you want but make it negative

Then Change change the ur money

it should then give you the value of the negative value in positive
