solesupremebeing Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I'm on Gingerbread 2.3, I had GG 5.6 installed a few weeks ago and it was working flawlessly (much appreciated), but today it stopped working after a SuperSU update. GG attempts to load, but crashes. I updated to GG 6.0, but still it just crashes. Any ideas? Thanks
Administrators Sysadmin Posted March 1, 2013 Administrators Posted March 1, 2013 Hello, Yes, I just noticed that to. If you set the prompt type to always grant however, it works just fine. 2

Siva9830 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Hi Me too having the same problem. Any help please?
zigoo Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 GameGuardian does a (very poor) attempt at disguising itself from other apps (I assume the target is games here), by hiding itself as an app present on most Android devices. If said app is actually present, SuperSU will detect the deception and (silently) deny access. This is a (very important) security measure, and I will not turn it off. Talk to whomever makes GameGuardian and make the app behave - I will not fix this. This attempt at disguising isn't going to work against any half decent game developer anyway.
Administrators Sysadmin Posted March 1, 2013 Administrators Posted March 1, 2013 Hello, This issue was an issue with GameGuardian's Superuser request. There is an unofficial fix available here: 3

DustEater Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 the only SOLUTION for this TEMPORARLY is making SUPERSU default setting as GRANT
