First put the amount of the gold coins you have, search it and then back to the game spend the coins and put again the amount of coins left into the search box it will now show 2 hex codes long press and change the amount. That should also work with the berries. Try changing the numbers if it doesn't work put back the original no. Just search for that hex that changes as soon as you put the amount.
