  1. Before I begin, I'd like to make sure anyone reading this is fully aware of a few things: 1.) Anything stated in this thread are opinions, and not nessasarily the opinions of GameGuardian.net, its owners, its employees or its members. 2.) The opinions stated herein are not intended to be offensive to any members or staff of GameGuardian.net. 3.) If you, the reader, find yourself offended by any of my opinions in this thread, please discontinue reading, and utilize you browsers back button. 4.) If you find yourself critically offended by one or more of my opinions, rather than causing a commotion in the forum, please contact me (or a member of the staff) directly. From what I have experienced thus far, this forum is a peaceful community and I intend to keep it that way. First, let me point out that I live in NYC (New York City), and about the only time I play any form of games on my device is when I'm traveling in one of the giant, metallic, subterranean worms that we lovingly call a subway train. Because of this, it makes playing any game that requires network access somewhat problematic. I find it incredibly annoying that 3/4 of the games I find myself even remotely interested in, require an active network connection. That's OK. Many of those games can (and are) quickly modded to no longer require said connection. However, I'm finding it increasingly more common that these games are now being marketed as MMO games, despite the fact that you will never actually see another player in the game (even in the stripped down pvp elements, its simply the other players character data being loaded, and controlled by the games AI). This, annoys me greatly. Moreover, the thing that I find most annoying is on Google Play itself. I grew up a fan of RPG games and adventure games, and that has translated into my preference in games for my android as well. Take a look at the categories section on Google Play. It has a category that quite bluntly is called "Action and Adventure". This should theoretically excite me. However when I browse through the games in that category, I'm bombarded with games that, at fiery glance, seem like they might be entertaining, only to quickly discover that its nothing more than a cheap TCG (Trading Card Game) with pretty pictures and a few scantily clad (practically hentai) anime women (girls) to help with marketing. That's not action. That's not adventure. That's Pokemon, or Magic: The Gathering, sprinkled with cartoon thighs and ***** so people will be interested. Its annoying. These games say that your a "Knight" or some other form of warrior, out to save the world with......a deck of playing cards. Right. That's totally believable. Unless your Gambit from the X-men, if you walk up to me with a pack of cards in your hand threatening to "battle me", the only things you'll be getting is a backhand to the face and a complimentary atomic wedgie to remind you of your foolishness. These are not RPG games, nor are they adventure games. They're most assuredly not "action" games either. If the most intense thing that your character (that you never see anyway) has to worry about is papercuts and the occasional wedgie for being a buffoon, you have no right to market yourself as "action" or "adventure", and you should stop flagging yourself as an "RPG" also. Get in the "casual" section where you belong. Between those two problems, I'm practically wanting to rip my hair out. Even doing a search for RPG, mostly yields MMO's or these utterly rediculus trading card games. How is the line "Collect cards!" supposed to be appealing? You want me to collect cards? I have a stack of 52 (plus two jokers) right on my shelf. I think I'm good. And until they find a way to play MMO's alone, while traveling underground at over sixty miles an hour, I think MMO's are out also. Well, now that my head is completely swimming with confusion, I think I'll bring this session to a close. I can only go so far off topic and still make sense. I hope someone gets a laugh out of this. Or, even better, if someone else actually agrees. Cheers.
  2. Simply put, I only attempt downloads from an older android that is basically only used for games and other various form of...fun. I've used the stripped down version of the site, as well as the "full version" also. As for the OS itself, it's an old gingerbread android that has so much old saved data on it, that I'm reluctant to throw it away. While I understand why you'd be asking about my OS, I'm a little puzzled as to why it would apply to an error message that labels itself as an internal error. Either way, I still appreciate the continued support and prompt responses. Oh, and I haven't bothered checking any of the downloads via PC by the way.
  3. I've tried multiple different approaches, yet all produce the same result. I've tried accessing the files from the mobile version of the forum (no luck), the full version of the forum (no luck). I've attempted this with multiple different files as well. All produce the same error message. Its a generic "I can't find that file" message, I know. However I'm pointing out that I get the same problem, and same result, regardless of what file I try to download. I also understand that you say you've resolved this issue, which put me in quite a giddy mood, only to be met with the same error message again. I appreciate the effort however. The only file I've received a different message on while attempting to download, is the Inotia 4 modded apk, which just says I don't have permission. All other files that I attempt with simply give the "cannot locate file ID" error.
  4. The error code, based on my observations, simply states that the file(s) cannot be located. Typically its not much of a problem, however I will admit that sometimes using someone else's modded apk will save me time from having to mod it myself. Thanks for the prompt response.
  5. Game Guardian, man... It's sort of the core app for this forum and site.
  6. Not sure if this is a bug, an error with my account, some sort of failsafe, or what have you. But whenever I attempt to download any file from the gameguardian server (including gameguardian itself) I am met with the following message: Oops! Something went wrong! [#10850.2] An internal error has occurred. Please contact an administrator. While I initially thought this might be a site failsafe to prevent new members from signing up and instantly downloading files until a certain amount of time and/or posts had been met, I've been having this problem since I created my account over a week ago. Similarly I also have a somewhat respectable post count for a "new member", considering how few topics seem to warrant an actual response or comment from me. This is not a childish screamfest, with me demanding someone to "fix" the problem. Merely this is a polite informational post, bringing the error to light, and requesting an explanation should one be required. Also, this problem happens when attempting to download any files from the site. New files, old files, game saves, modded apks, even attempting to download gameguardian itself (I had to download the app from a third party site that just happed to have a mediafire link to the app). Thank you for your time.
  7. Right, so... It's apparently good form to introduce yourself here. Alright then. I'm Rude. More often than not, it shows in both title as well as deed. I try to be helpful when possible, but I frequently forget that not everyone has had as much technical experience, or even exposure, as myself. This tends to make me appear a lot more brash than I actually am. While not particularly intentional, it can sometimes be problematic. Oh yeah, geological location, hobbies, favorite foods, and all that other stuff that most probably wont care about.. Location: Earth (I think) Favorite foods: Infants and toddlers (raw) Hobbies: I play SC2 on a semi professional level when I'm not working, and I play android games when I'm on the subway commuting to various client locations. Because of this, I tend to prefer to lean towards games that don't require net access. I also tend to stick with rpg's as well. Random fun fact: I despise Apple products, and refuse to purchase or use them. Or help others who are having problems with there's. "Having trouble with your iPhone/Mac? The solution is simple. Get an Android/PC." Introduction? Check.
  8. I'll start off by answering your question, Femerall. I don't believe it's possible to have any version of FFIII on your device, be it modded or not, without having the device rooted. This is due to the licensing verification put it place by Square Enix. If you can find a modded version of the game that has had this verification process removed, it may be possible. However your best bet is to either pay for a license, or use a rooted device with Lucky Patcher or a similar app installed, to remove the licensing check (which will also remove the need for some form of net connection just to start up the game). Lucky Patcher can also create a "modded APK" for you, though if I'm not mistaken, your device would still require Lucky Patcher to be installed in order to install the modded APK. Lucky Patcher of course requires your device to be rooted in order to run. As far as additional cheats/hacks go on the game itself, I'd like to point out that (because I haven't seen this listed anywhere) item values are based on there location in your inventory, rather than being static based on item type. Because of this you can, for example, have Ultima Weapon/Masamune and 5 potions next to each other in your inventory, do a search for "1" (for the Ultima Weapon or Masamune) then switch the positions of the potions and the weapon (or anything else), search for "5" (number of potions), switch them back and repeat (this may take a few times) and find the address for that inventory position. Then you can set the item value to whatever you want (1 - 99). You can then also put any other items you want to change quantity of in that same position and set there value as well. This makes duplicating job mastery items possible, and also saves a ton of time when farming dragons for Onion armor pieces. Or, you could just use a PC based saved game editor to save even more time... I just personally like to keep some degree of playability in my game. Well, I did my good deed for the day... now back to more lurking.
