Have you tried cheating this game? What happened?: it works but it resets once the server checks and notices the change. 
Comments: I realize everything is stored server wise.. but maybe you can mod the APK to work around it?

I tried with the game cih and it worked but when it came to buying things it wouldn't let me

I had the same exact issue. It's because the server checks your stuff every few seconds to prevent it. I can tell people mod it somehow though. People have dragons that cost tons of gems and they're all super high levels and when you check their island there is no way they're making enough food and gold to even provide for them.

Anyone have any luck so far? Some Russian guy clearly hacked it. Check the Top Players his name is mher74. He wasn't even on the leaderboard as of a day ago.

I'm also looking for a mod apk, or a working hack for this game. I have few dragons of 3 elements, but now, willing to get some of 4, since the difference in their life and attack is pretty noticeable.
