Is there anything at all that can be done for this style of game(build a base, use resources to upgrade and research, go battle)? There are multiple forms of currency, cards to upgrade your "heroes", and resources. Any of it would help, but I'm not sure if it's possible in this one.

I'm getting the impression that it was designed in a way that GG can't do anything to it.

Would it be possible to modify values of items received in messages? Or is that all done server side, too?

I think it's been determined that wonder pick is already decided after you select which wonder pick you're doing. Similar to how the contents of pack are decided prior to opening. So, for instance, if you're going for an Electrode in a wonder pick, it decides you're either getting it or you're not. If it decides you are, it'll show up in whichever spot you pick.

I've tried the fuzzy dword -> N=O+D method like I used in CSR2 but it always just ends up with no results. Is there another method I should try?

I also tried using the D-Word methods that used to work in CSR2 and had absolutely no luck. I'd really enjoy the ability to fiddle with Rivals, Keys, Coins, and Cash. Fingers crossed someone who knows more than I about this kind of stuff can shed some light on how to move forward.
