Tried this myself and yeah they do revert back, I think the reason is that it's server based. Like when you try to play the game offline, you can't since it "downloads" game resources (I guess it includes player data) from the servers

So, game just released under Early Access Beta on the Play Store. If anyone wants to have a go at it, I humbly request these cheats for the script. APK is available at APKPure btw.
