Been trying to get something nworking with Secret of Mana. No matter what I use (Cheat Engine, Game Guardian, Cheat Droid), nothing seems to work. Anybody got some tricks?

Secret of Mana example: Known search for multiple memory ranges with either Word, Dword, Float or XOR type values and nothing comes up upon second search. I'm back on the gaming scene after being gone for a while so of course that may seem like a noob question but here it is nonetheless.
