deleting a bookmark folder

Please I have an empty folder and the end of where my regular bookmarks are to access pages later.this folder appears under my gmail address and there is no way I can delete it.When I select delete all the bookmarks show the option to select them except this folder.I also press it down to see if it offer the option to delete it but no luck thanks
