Value doesn't change

When I change values on a game, on gameguardian it shows that I changed it but when I restart the game the value was how it was before. The values have a copy of each other and even though I change both of them it still didn't work. This happened on multiple games and I'm sure I got the right values. How do i fix this

Gameguardian edits your memory. The memory is reset when you reset the game.

You want the game data to save. You have to make the game register and update the values into your player data.

The best way to do this is to modify collectibles, then claim the collectibles.
