CrimsonTooth Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 I'm trying to cheat in a game called 'Gold Mountain' by MPMakerGames (I think it's a Chinese studio) but it seems to have some mechanics in place to combat memory manipulation. I have been using GG for years now. But Gold Mountain is a unusual game that seems to be simple to cheat in. By that, I mean it does run perfectly normal without internet access, game doesn't look like a multi-million dollar company made it and Lucky Patcher could when I did it modify in app purchases without problems. Game has only permanent in app purchases which you buy once, and when I used Lucky Patcher to buy them, the upgrades transferred to a device that doesn't have root or Lucky Patcher via cloud save when I launched the game. I said all of that to get a point across that the game seems simple. My problem is that I don't know how you cheat in it. Playing with speed hack didn't work, it made the game lag. GG was unable to locate memory addresses after narrowing down the search results. It's not even that the results don't do anything when changed, problem is that it can't find any of them remotely associated with the values I'm looking for. I even tried using memory ranges that normally aren't used by anyone (avoiding O, B, Xa & Xs). In some cases, game even crashed while GG was active. Does anyone have any idea on how to cheat in this game because I certainly am out of ideas? Some images:
CrimsonTooth Posted May 29, 2022 Author Posted May 29, 2022 I've found a way in the end something that is quite easily modifiable and it's actually dumb I didn't find it much earlier but here it is. If you enable Ca: C++ alloc (memory range) in GG for Gold Mountain, you can look for resource nodes in the map with E: Double type and modify them to any number you want (also freeze it as a bonus): Its not as good as it would be just being able to change the money value but it's still something.
