Just wait with the 1hit till your points + remaining health of raid boss is just a little bit more than the top player's points. Then press fight button and do 1hit.

@jskaBro, perhaps this helps you pinpointing the bug: frozen enemy only works after the first hit, so only after hitting the enemy he freezes.
