HERO GAME's SELGG seems like a character mapping type. It doesn't pass the encrypted data to the decoder, unlike other tools. From what I understand, its decoder algorithm is a self-reading decoder. I might be wrong, but using io.open to read itself and using gmatch to extract the encrypted data is possible. Combined with its excessive usage of local variables, its decoder becomes insanely difficult to extract and restore.

For context, my own unreleased/private encryption tool, Pentagon, is also a character mapping type.

SELGG's outputs are structured like this: aBCD99h, where "aBCD" represents the encrypted data, "99" is the index, and "h" is the key code (as per SELGG's release notes).

In contrast, Pentagon (my private encryption) produces output like this: S7bUwBsuJdbUsnK. Here, "S" indicates it's a string (if it's "N", it's a number; if it's "F", it's a function), "7" is the index, and "bUwBsuJdbUsnK" is the encrypted data scattered randomly, with some mapped characters being part of key, PRNG calculator, and hash identifiers.

So, maybe you need to learn more, not him. Yours is very easy to reverse. I can just LASM your encryption and remove your blockers manually without breaking anything. Try that with SELGG, and you will 99% remove a crucial part of the decoder in an attempt to remove its blockers, and it will not work.
