Phone reboots when pressing search or using other functions

Question

Please be patient, I'm not a very advanced or experienced user when it comes to this.

Phone is rooted and I haven't had trouble using version 6.0.5

Every time I open GG and either try to search for values or press on some of the other functions my phone automatically reboots quickly. I tried searching for the solution but I'm not sure which one specifically I need to do to fix my problem cause the problems I find are all related to freezing. Is that the same thing? My phone doesn't freeze it just reboots.

I'm trying to use the newest version of GG cause the current game detects the previous one.

How you got the root?

I've had the phone for 3 years and did the root since almost the beginning. So I can't remember which one I used to root the phone. But yes its rooted. I've used the previous versions of GG with no problem.

Enyby,  yes I'd like to fix the problem. I read the posts. Just tell me what I need to do and I'll try my best to complete it. Thank you for your help.

So I tried the new version 8.4.3 and this time it still reboots just a bit slower than the 8.4.2 version.

Just to clarify, you will be making a different test version or am I to use the one in the thread you posted? You haven't responded so I wasn't sure.

Make test build: GameGuardian.git_signed.apk
Removes GG, put this build, follow the steps leading to the freeze.
Once the device has reboot save the file somewhere /data/dbg.txt
Repeat three times to collect the log, do not forget to copy it after each time, otherwise it is overwritten.
Log into the archive, the archive send here.
The size of each log is 100-300 MB. The archive is to be 100-200 kb.
Accordingly, the device must be free space on the internal storage.
After the third time the log was removed to not waste space on your device.

No.

/data/dbg.txt

is full path to file from root. Use program like root explorer or adb to get this file.

So I open GG.  Open my app that I want to search in. Go to GG,  choose that app from the available list. I go to search. Input the values. Search slow.

Now, sometime it reboots right away. Sometimes it will find many values. Then when I try to search again it will reboot. I've never been able to find the one single value to change before it reboots. Usually 1 to 2 searches will reboot it right away. I tried it on other apps and same thing. Reboot.

The other app works with the older version of GG but this one app I want to edit detects the old version and shuts down.  So I can't use the older version.

Never had this problem before. I used 6.0.5.
