Need help with Health stat

Im new to GG. I started simple but hacking the game "School Days" from Mdickie. I was able the hack the value of money. I then tried to change the values and give myself infinite health and sanity. I searched unknown Double value and found the ones that I was looking for but when I froze it or tried changing It. I had no luck doing so. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is it possible to find or create a Lua script for the game? I would appreciate it very much.
