I prefer to use Lover1500 tool to dump the libil2cpp.so & metadata files because I seem to have more success with it. If you can't find these files for the game you're playing then try downloading the apk from apkcombo rather than the Play Store and try again. As for what methods to search for then for me it's trial and error. Think of the game you're playing and what you are trying to achieve. Does your game use gold or coins or gems or diamonds and search various words accordingly. Maybe its damage or power or health you're trying to find. Once I find something I think could be interesting then I change it and see if it has any affect on the game. All credit goes to @Lover1500and @BadCasefor creating these tools.
