any tip on how to root my phone without a computer

Do you have a friend's computer you can use? The computer is the most surefire way to do it successfully.

When I Google it I can't find anything on that subject and I don't have a friends computer I can use. the only computer I have access to is the library

As my experience with rooting says,I just can say that you can flash ClockWorkMod Recovery using PC and Odin.

Then you can run the rooting script in recovey.

Its how I rooted my Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus after flashing Official Jelly Bean.

Theres a app out that does root phones but you cant use 100% of the benefits of having a rooted phone.

Try z4root if you have gingerbread or froyo. If someone you know has a rooted USB OTG capable device, use root transmission
