Online games where only visuals change (gold, diamond)

hoons

Question

I know that goods that are directly related to profits such as gold and diamonds are kept on the game's servers. So, even if I changed the price, it quickly got back to the original. So far I understand. But is this really the limit? I heard that the Game Guardian can do something by accessing the memory code directly. In fact, games like SimCity Buildit were able to manipulate mission achievement rewards, even though they were online games. However, in games such as sao md, epic seven, and Danmachi, the price changed but was not rewarded. Even if it works, the price has returned. What's the difference? And if I build up my knowledge of programming, can I hack into games like this as a game guardian?
