So, I've been trying to hack Gems in Eternium: Mage and Minions for a while now. Since no one seems to be able to hack the game in the latest version (1.2.49), I've been trying to downgrade to version 1.2.33 by installing an apk. The problem I'm having is that the game won't run 'offline'. Neither 1.2.33 nor the updated version.
Turning off 'wi-fi' in the emulator or using airplane mode still leaves me connected to the internet. I've tried pulling my internet cable from my computer, but the game just stays on the first loading screen saying 'Contacting Status Server'. It does this with the recent version of the game as well as the older one. I haven't found any option in the emulator to go into offline mode.
Any help in getting this game to run offline would be appreciated.
Edit: I was able to get the game to run offline using Bluestacks. I'd still appreciate help with XePlayer, though.
