Drodd Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Hi! I was hoping for some advice on a cheap android device. It can be a phone or a tablet. Form factor doesn't matter. The only purpose is to take advantage of Game Guardian's speedhack ability to accelerate the animation in the turn based unity engine game called dungeon boss while playing on wifi (I do not need cellular). The Game Guardian speedhack does not work when I use any PC android emulator. I believe this is because you need an ARM processor since this is an ARM library game and all emulators are x86. So my criteria is: ARM processor, not x86 Fast for gaming $300 or less (I'm happy to spend less!) Right now I'm thinking the HUAWEI MediaPad M3 Tablet for $300 https://www.amazon.com/Huawei-MediaPad-Marshmallow-Moonlight-Warranty/dp/B01LB08BH6 But I suspect there are faster or cheaper devices that would get the job done equally well.
