What happened?: Yes, but unsuccessful.Comments: I tried hacking gold by finding the float value of it by following this guide. I was able to change the value but it just went back to the previous value immediately (e.g. tried to change gold from 100 to 1000, game shows that I have 1000 gold but can't buy anything that cost greater than 100).
