Have you tried cheating this game? What happened?: Managed to change money to 9999999, when trying to use it, no purchases would "go through"

I've also tried using Lucky Patcher but have had no luck (hah).

 

I've managed to find the money value but after changing it was not able to make any in-game item purchases "go through".

 

What else can be done?
