Nothing extraordinary, GG can't be detected really, PTrace can. <- wrong, haven't done enough research i guess.

GG uses PTrace to hook apps and do operations but this game checks for ptrace and eliminates it.

# means defended process.

No.

If the game saves data on device you can prefs hack or hex edit it

Just trying to keep this topic alive and not start any new topics.

I'ven't had any success yet.  I have tried two versions of GG.  My original, older version gets immediately detected and the game will not open or shuts down if it is open.  The new version doesn't get detected right away.  However, it also finds three different MLB 9 Innings games.  The first game is not detected and does not alter anything.  The second game is detected as soon as I try to "change" values.  The third game is immediately detected.

Just sharing for others... maybe we can someday figure this out

You just basically wasted your time.

Other GG versions still use PTrace, it won't change.

Game creates three different processes to defend each other. Maybe 1 is the actual game, 1 is the defense and the last one might be the important values, which might be overlooked by the defense.

I am mostly new to this so its not a waste of time for me to live and learn.

So, is there a way to turn off the Ptrace?

Yes there are people who can mod it away. I can't mod so don't ask me.

Someday, maybe you can ask me, trying to learn. I think @NoFear is one of those people, he doesn't really do mod requests though or he can't mod and i just took all his sentences out of context.

I can't/don't mod.

Alphagamers.net has plenty of great modders.

I will usually ask one of them to remove ptrace (if possible).
